A Taste of Turkey Gracing the Wharf at Barangaroo


Renowned chef and cookbook author Somer Sivrioglu’s acclaimed Balmain restaurant Efendy is famous for providing Sydneysiders with the authentic taste of Turkey. Now Somer is bringing his own culinary flair to the city’s newest development, Barangaroo.

Anason, which opened late February 2016, is the first permanent restaurant to open on Barangaroo’s Wulugul Walk. Invoking the concept of the meyhanes of Istanbul, it offers the Anatolian cooking Somer is celebrated for, in a new, modern waterside environment.

Anason at Barangaroo is showcasing more than 20 cold and hot mezes in this exclusive event.
